There were long runs, highlight-reel touchdowns and statistically eye-popping games. DeMarco Murray spent only two years with the Tennessee Titans, but he made them count.

With the former Titans' running back announcing on Friday his retirement from the NFL after seven seasons, here's a look back at his top five performances with the Titans.

Sept. 18, 2016 at Lions

Murray caught two touchdown passes in his Titans debut (a 25-16 loss to Minnesota on Sept. 11, 2016), but it wasn't until Week 2 that he began gashing a defense in a way reminiscent of his days with the Dallas Cowboys.

Against the Lions, Murray averaged 7.42 yards per carry (12 carries, 89 yards), his best mark in 2016 and one of just four times he averaged over seven yards per carry in a single game with the Titans.

He also caught all seven passes thrown his way for 56 yards in helping Tennessee win its first game of 2016.

Murray rumbled for 121 yards on 27 carries against Miami, also hauling in five passes for 16 yards. He had 11 carries for 36 yards in the fourth quarter to bleed the clock and help ice the game for the Titans.

The effort marked the second time in 2016 Murray had over 100 rushing yards, a feat he managed five times in his first season with the Titans. He ran for over 100 yards just once with the Eagles in 2015.

Oct. 27, 2016 vs. Jaguars

Murray went into human-wrecking-ball mode in this one, racking up 21 carries and 123 rushing yards — tied for his most in a single game with the Titans — in leading Tennessee to a 36-22 win. His 14-yard touchdown scamper with 7:09 left in the second quarter put the Titans up 24-0.

Nov. 13, 2016 vs. Packers

In the Titans' 47-25 bludgeoning of the Packers, it was Murray who stole the show.

On the Titans' first play from scrimmage, Murray took a handoff up the middle before breaking into open space and sprinting 75 yards untouched for the second longest touchdown run of his career.

But Murray was just getting started. Later in the first half, he threw a 10-yard touchdown pass to Delanie Walker, becoming the first non-quarterback in Titans franchise history with a rushing and passing touchdown in the same game since Sept. 7, 1980, when Earl Campbell did it for the Houston Oilers.

Murray finished with 123 yards on 17 carries, and added two catches for 33 yards.

Sept. 24, 2017 vs. Seahawks

Murray took a handoff to the left, got to the sideline, turned the corner, and then weaved through the Seahawks' secondary for a 75-yard touchdown run, the first run of at least 75 yards against Seattle's defense since 2009.

The score stretched Tennessee's lead to 16 points late in the third quarter before it held on for a 33-27 win in Week 3 of the 2017 season. Murray finished with 14 carries for 115 yards, his first and only game of over 100 yards rushing in his final season with the Titans.
