CCSO rules out foul play at Bermuda Island apartment complex

Collier County Sheriff's Office detectives have ruled out foul play Friday morning at a North Naples apartment complex.

A county medical examiner determined the cause of death in the isolated incident at the Bermuda Island Apartments amenities center on the southeast corner of Vanderbilt Beach and Livingston roads, said CCSO spokeswoman Michelle Batten.

A tan tarp covers half of the front window and drapes down an open passenger side door of a Honda parked at Bermuda Island Apartments in North Naples on July 13, 2018. Collier County Sheriff's Office detectives and deputies were at the complex, which included yellow crime scene tape cordoning off the amenities center and a road leading to the back of the complex.

A silver Honda car had a tan tarp draped over half of the front passenger side window, covering the passenger side door.

Crime scene tape also blocked off one of the main roads leading to the back of the apartment complex.
