Bucks sign rookie guard Donte DiVincenzo

Milwaukee Bucks rookie Donte DiVincenzo is about to get a major influx of funds into his near-empty bank account.

Less than 24 hours after Bucks forward D.J. Wilson posted a picture of DiVincenzo's bank account showing $3.71 to the rookie's name, DiVincenzo signed his first NBA contract. The 17th overall pick inked his deal on Tuesday, which is worth 120% of the rookie scale, coming in at about $5.3 million over his first two seasons. It also includes team options for DiVincenzo's third and fourth seasons, which if picked up would bring his four-year total to approximately $13 million.

DiVincenzo, a 6-foot-5 guard out of Villanova, has yet to appear for the Bucks at the Las Vegas summer league. He missed the team's first three games due to a right groin strain, though he has been able to participate in full-contact practices over the past few days.

His status for Milwaukee's next game, which will likely be Wednesday as part of the summer-league tournament, remains unclear.

The Bucks now have 13 players under contract for next season. That does not include free agents Ersan Ilyasova or Brook Lopez, who are expected to make their agreements with the Bucks official soon. That number also does not include restricted free agent Jabari Parker, who remains on the market.
