As DJ Wilson puts it, Donte DiVincenzo's "life is boutta change."

Donte DiVincenzo shows his bank account numbers to Bucks teammate DJ Wilson. Those numbers are about to change.

Wilson, a second-year Bucks player, posted a humorous image to his Instagram story early Tuesday showing newly drafted Bucks player Donte DiVincenzo holding up his phone, displaying his bank accounts. The everyday checking account: $2.68. His savings: $1.03.

The Bucks just wrapped up a trio of summer league games in Las Vegas, though DiVincenzo was held out of all three contests with a groin injury. Pretty sure it's tough to get on a blackjack table with those banking numbers.

But it's obviously a temporary situation for the NCAA Final Four's Most Outstanding Player last March.

DiVincenzo is one of three first-round draft picks who have yet to sign their rookie contract, along with 18th pick Lonnie Walker (Spurs) and 29th pick Dzanan Musa (Nets).

The NBA rookie scale identifies the first-year salary for the 17th pick as $2,067,500. Assuming 120 percent of the rookie scale, he'd be on track for a two-year deal worth $5,386,800 ($2,481,000 being the cap hit). Rookies can make anywhere between 80 and 120 percent of the assigned value within the scale.
