Craig Counsell and Bob Uecker visit in the Brewers dugout at Miller Park during the 2015 season.

Legendary Brewers radio broadcaster Bob Uecker left the booth midway through Monday's game against the Minnesota Twins with a scratch on his eye and was not expected to be in the booth for Tuesday's afternoon game at Miller Park.

Lane Grindle, who routinely handles road games with Uecker's full-time radio partner, Jeff Levering, stepped in for both broadcasts.

Grindle has worked games at Miller Park before, including a handful during his first season in 2016 alongside Uecker and again last year with Levering when Uecker attended Bud Selig's Hall of Fame induction ceremony.

Uecker was expected to still be at the ballpark Tuesday and back in the booth quickly, likely as early as Wednesday.

This particular incident is nothing compared to the scare Uecker endured in the off-season thanks to a poisonous spider bite.
