SOUTH FORT MYERS — Venetian Pointe by Zuckerman Homes, a new South Fort Myers’ community of custom estate villas, has reached two more milestones — the first pre-sold homes are now completed and the community’s first residents are moving in.

"The completion of the first buildings and the moving in of its first residents is an exciting time in the evolution of a new community,” stated Andrew Zuckerman, president of Zuckerman Homes. “We started planning Venetian Pointe more than three years ago and began the on-site development of the community about one year ago. So, today we mark two important milestones in the community’s history, but we still have many more milestones to go."

According to Zuckerman, the majority of the new homes still under construction have been pre-sold, but some inventory homes will also be available soon.

"Our pre-launch research indicated there is a strong demand for new home construction in the South Fort Myers area,” Zuckerman recalled. “That prompted us to get a number of inventory homes under construction as soon as possible. Some of those inventory homes, which are a mix of the community’s five floor plans and a variety of beautiful elevations, are expected to be completed around mid-summer."

Situated on 50 acres, Venetian Pointe by Zuckerman Homes is a community of only 100 well-appointed custom estate villas. Four furnished models are open daily. Prices start in the upper $200s.

"The home designs at Venetian Pointe have never been available in any other community,” said Zuckerman. “That includes the courtyard entries, which create a very private, intimate and tranquil atmosphere that continues right into the foyer and throughout the residence.”

In addition to the floor plans, furnished models and pricing, there are four other major benefits to buying and living at Venetian Pointe. The first is; there are no community development district (CDD) fees. The second, the HOA fees are low. Third, due to the elevation of the community, no flood insurance is required. And fourth, the community has natural gas for cooktops, water heaters and dryers.

At Venetian Pointe by Zuckerman Homes, buyers have a choice of five fully customizable one- and two-story floor plans. Designed by architect Don Evans and his firm, The Evans Group, the homes range from 1,500 to 3,000 square feet. Volume ceilings provide an even more open and spacious feel.

Chef-inspired kitchens include natural gas, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, soft-closing wood cabinetry, plus pantries and breakfast counters (per plan).

Every residence also features a well-appointed master suite with coffered ceilings and his and her walk-in closets, as well as a spa-inspired master bath with his and her sinks, a vanity, and a stand-alone shower.

All homes also offer a backyard and a Florida room, as well as a two-car garage with separate area for a workstation, studio or extra storage.

While each floor plan at Venetian Pointe is carefully designed to encompass what homebuyers are looking for today, Zuckerman offers the opportunity to customize each home to the buyer’s specifications.

“We believe that every home we build should be as unique as our homeowners,” Zuckerman said. “That’s why our design process allows buyers to create and customize their home with finishing touches, to make it a reflection of themselves.”

Adding to the appeal of the homes at Venetian Pointe is the beauty of the neighborhood itself. Zuckerman Homes is a strong believer in preserving natural elements and minimizing its impact on the environment. Within the 50 acres of Venetian Pointe, Zuckerman Homes set aside over one-third of the property for natural preserves and lakes, allowing the architecture of the homes to interweave with the surroundings of the area.

In addition to the first homes, the community’s main amenity area will soon be completed. The Venetian Club will offer a fitness center, resort-style pool, and outdoor patio. Sidewalk paths will also wind throughout and around the community.

To complete the maintenance-free lifestyle, professional lawn maintenance is provided throughout the community.

Venetian Pointe’s is close to the beaches of the Gulf of Mexico. It’s also near industry-leading healthcare facilities, such as HealthPark Medical Center, Lee Memorial Hospital, and Golisano Children’s Hospital, shopping centers, fine dining and casual restaurants, community parks and A-rated schools.
