Describe your business: I provide precision haircuts for men and boys. Customized to fit individual style and preferences. I specialize in scissor cuts, military cuts, fades, and beard detailing. Currently advancing into hair color and body waxing.

What’s your professional background: I’m a state licensed Cosmetologist. I did my training in South Dakota. For the past 7 years I have been focusing on the barbering side of the beauty and hair industry.

You’re business philosophy: My philosophy is for everyone to be proud of who they are and to feel comfortable in their own skin. I love that I get to contribute to how my clients carry themselves. I love making people look and feel great.

Biggest challenge: I feel very blessed that I haven’t’ been faced with any major challenges so far. Not to say there are none that lie ahead. I’m just taking each day as a new day to do what I love.

Proudest moment as a business person: My proudest moment was being able to open my own barbershop almost 4 years ago. A dream come true.

A recent proud moment for me was being “knighted” and recognized for my seven-plus years volunteering as a barber for St. Baldrick’s here in Brevard County.

Business advice: Three things I live by: Start fresh every day, Remember your purpose, and Stay Inspired. Pursue your dreams no matter how big or small and keep pushing. The only thing that keeps you from pursuing your dreams is yourself.

What’s next? What are your future plans for your business: So, what’s next? The beauty and hair industry is forever changing, so I’m going to keep learning, stay educated and stay inspired! I’m going to pursue getting my restricted barbers license so I will be dually licensed. Expand my knowledge, education, and services. Ultimate goal, to open a large barbershop where people love to go and barbers love to work.
