Warrant roundup nets 17 arrests

Fifty law enforcement officers participated in Thursday and Friday morning’s city wide warrants sweep.

Agents with the Caddo Parish Sherriff’s Office, Louisiana Department of Probation and Parole, Louisiana State Police, and the Shreveport City Marshal’s Office, worked throughout the morning in efforts to locate and arrest those wanted individuals. The results of the operation yielded the arrest of seventeen persons who were sought on outstanding arrest warrants.  

Authorities also seized illegal narcotics during the operation as well.  In all, there were 10 felony arrests, 7 misdemeanor arrests, 126 warrant executions, 1.5 pounds of marijuana and 14 ecstasy pills seized.
