The final extension for MPP signups ends 6/22/18

The third and final extension for the dairy Margin Protection Program ends today.

Producers have until the end of the day to get signed up with their local Farm Service Agency office.  Unlike the previous extensions, USDA will not be taking names on a register for a follow-up next week, so sign-ups must be completed today.

All dairy operations must make new MPP coverage elections for 2018, even if they signed up several months ago under the old 2018 signup before the program was changed.
