Dayton's Kostas Antetokounmpo goes up to shoot against Rhode Island last season.

The NBA has another Antetokounmpo.

Kostas Antetokounmpo, younger brother of Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis, was picked by the Dallas Mavericks in the second round of the NBA draft with the 60th overall selection via a trade from the Philadelphia 76ers.

Kostas Antetokounmpo played at Dominican High School before accepting a scholarship with Dayton.

The 6-foot-10 Antetokounmpo had to sit out his first year in college as a nonqualifier. Then he declared for the NBA draft despite playing just 15 minutes per game and averaging 5.2 points and 2.9 rebounds last season.

But NBA teams were willing to take a flyer on his bloodlines. Giannis is one of the best players in the NBA and another brother, Thanasis, played for the New York Knicks in 2016 and is currently playing professionally in their native Greece.

Kostas will probably not be on the Mavericks' roster next season and will likely spend most of his time in the G League or overseas to get more experience.

But Giannis will probably be an interested observer when the Mavericks play the Milwaukee Bucks on July 8 in the Las Vegas summer league.
