Seeking to expand access in city bike shares, the Milwaukee Department of Public Works is asking community members for opinions on a new adaptive bike program.

The Milwaukee Department of Public Works is seeking input regarding a new adaptive bike program.

The DPW hopes to provide a wider variety of bikes, such as tricycles, side-by-side tandem bicycles and handcycles, to accommodate residents and visitors of all ages and abilities, the department said in a news release Thursday.

Based on the feedback the DPW receives from the survey, it will continue to develop the program to best fit the needs of the city.

The DPW asks the public to take the online survey at surveymonkey.com/r/MilwaukeePABP.
