Coroner identifies Easley man killed in Pickens County crash

An Easley man was killed in a crash in Pickens County early Thursday afternoon.

Kenneth David Reynolds Jr., 49, of Colonial Drive in Easley, died after the crash, according to a release from the Pickens County Coroner's Office. 

The crash happened around 1:15 p.m. on Anderson Highway at Flat Rock Road outside of Liberty. A pickup truck traveling east on Anderson Highway struck a car entering the highway from Flat Rock Road, Trooper Joel Hovis with the South Carolina Highway Patrol said.

Reynolds later died at Baptist Easley Hospital.

The driver of the pickup truck suffered injuries and was also taken to the hospital.
