United by Blue clean-up focuses on Ruidoso's waterways

Hosts will supply everything needed by volunteers, including snacks and prizes for whoever finds the weirdest trash

United By Blue, the Ruidoso Parks and Recreation Department and Keep Ruidoso Beautiful are staging a cleanup beginning at 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, June 26.

Participants will meet at the Eagle Creek softball complex, 133 New Mexico Highway 532, to clean along the village's waterways,.the Eagle Creek drainage, Alto Lake and Bog Springs, which is in front of the high school on Warrior Drive

Alto Lake is on the list for attention during the United by Blue clean-up set for June 26.

He's hoping for a big turnout and urged people to bring their neighbors and to spread the word.
