Southeast Wisconsin Chick-fil-A restaurants plan a giveaway for next Tuesday.

Southeast Wisconsin’s six Chick-fil-A restaurants plan to give away free chicken sandwiches to visitors at dinnertime next Tuesday.

Those who show up at Chick-fil-A restaurants in Brookfield, Greendale, Oak Creek, Mount Pleasant and West Allis between 5 and 7 p.m. on Tuesday will receive one free Chick-fil-A chicken sandwich per person while supplies last, the company said.

The southeast Wisconsin restaurants conducted a similar giveaway in January and distributed more than 3,000 free sandwiches in two hours, said Danica Anderson, the owner-operator of the Chick-fil-A at Drexel Town Square in Oak Creek.

"We’re looking forward to giving away even more sandwiches between the six stores during next week’s giveaway," she said.

The free sandwiches will be available either in the restaurants or at the drive-throughs. She said the restaurants typically bring in extra employees for the promotion.

"Our teams love to have friendly competition between the restaurants on who can give away the most free sandwiches, and love to break their own service records during giveaway times," Anderson said. "Most of our stores will serve over 125 cars per hour during the giveaway time just in the drive-through."

Chick-fil-A restaurants are located at: 12625 W. Capitol Drive, Brookfield; 1 N. Moorland Road, Brookfield; 5351 S. 76th St., Greendale; 5315 Washington Ave., Mount Pleasant; 150 W. Town Square Way, Oak Creek; and 2645 S. 108th St., West Allis.
