Hello Lawless Frenchies. 😉 I'm in Paris for a month while waiting for my phone line to be installed.

Mon mari et moi avons déménagé en Guadeloupe il y a deux ans, et il vient de finir la construction de notre demeure, mais France Télécom ne semble pas pouvoir faire son travail. Nous avons fait la demande en novembre mais ils décalent le rendez-vous de deux ou trois semaines chaque fois.
Translation

My husband and I moved to Guadeloupe two years ago, and he just finished building our home, but France Télécom doesn't seem to be able to do its work. We ordered in November but they delay the appointment by two or three weeks every time.
