Frequent flyer news and updates for those who don’t like to read

Ever get the feeling that reading is just too much work. That all the time you spend staring at a computer screen is wasted, or that you’d rather entertain your ears rather than your eyes? Thank goodness there’s a podcast for that. Fozz, Stephan, Rolo and I have been running the PointsHoarder podcast for a while now, though I don’t often write about it here. And, last I checked, we’re the only game in town with a podcast talking about points and such, so I like the odds there.

To be fair, the PointsHoarder podcast is not all about points. We talk about destinations, trip planning, trip reports and whatever other things come to mind as we ramble through 30-40 minutes of news and updates. This week’s episode covers some relatively big news, such as the changes to Delta‘s lounge access policy and the impending United award charts change and, throughout the episode, comments on a tasting of four different Lithuanian beers we drank throughout the show.

We release a new show every other week. Give it a listen and let me know what you think. You can subscribe to the podcast in iTunes or to the podcast feed.

    1. Good call, Grant. I forgot about EPoP in part because the timing is a bit inconsistent. But he does talk travel and points. He also gets guests on which is pretty cool. We rarely do that, though we’ve tried once or twice. This week’s episode has a random comment from a friend who happened to be in the room while we were recording.

      1. Does your friend work for an airline or hotel and is able to share some insider information?

Side note, are you going to Hamburg for AIE conference in April?

        1. I have lots of friends who work in hotels and airlines. Very few share inside info for publication. That’s how they continue to work in hotels and airlines. 😉

Not currently planning for Hamburg; depends on if I can get some work to cover the trip.

    1. We recorded this episode in Lithuania; finding the beer was actually pretty easy. That said, there are one or two places I can think of which might have the Lithuanian beers in NYC. I’ll have to take a look at some point.
