Thursday night flights are great for a lot of reasons. There is rarely a better feeling when a First Class upgrade clears at the gate like it did today. It is a refreshing feeling to win the gate lottery after a long week.

First Class on Delta can be as refreshing with a top shelf drink like the Woodford Reserve on the rocks.

Stretching out in Flat-Bed First Class with an upgrade is a nice way to feel like a king on your Thursday night domestic flight.

Followed by the obligatory refill on the Woodford Reserve of course!

Extra legroom in First Class can even enhance a glass of ice cold water. Because you don’t want to be the guy (or gal) stumbling off the plane.

Then there could always be the Margarita waiting for you when you get to your destination.

But all the drinks, upgrades and flat-beds offered to this Platinum Medallion member don’t mean a thing if I can’t get home safe to see Mrs. Weekly Flyer and Baby Weekly Flyer. Thursday nights are the best when I see a greeting with arms raised up in the air.

Thanks Delta, for another upgrade, and another top shelf cocktail and most importantly, a safe flight home to see the family!

That’s what makes my Thursday night flights in First Class the Best! How about you?

  1. LAX-ATL on a 767? That 757 parked at ATL in the first picture is rocking a nice non powered BusinessElite seat. Hats off on the Bourbon selection.
