I love this die cut sunshine scene with the the yellow pots matching the big yellow sun. I have been having so much fun creating spring projects with this color combination and I love this mix of tiny flowers and tulips. All these images are from the Rubbernecker Stamps new May die release.
The Stitched Layers
The stitched rectangle pieces were left over from another project that I used the Window w/ Double Stitch frame and I thought they would be such pretty layers for the flower pots. I attached them directly to the card base with double stick tape.
The Flower Pots
I cut the flowers and formed them using my stylus and molding pad. I used glossy accents to attach the flowers to the stems and then arranged them and attached to the back of the pots using glossy accents. When creating a floral arrangement like this you need to begin attaching the front pieces first and work your way back to create the full design.
The Die Cut Sunshine Scene
I cut two sun images so I could have a second circle image for layering. I attached the sun and first circle in place on the back using double stick tape. I attached the second circle in front of the base layer using glossy accents. Next I attached the sun and cloud to the card base using mounting tape. The grass was attached using mounting tape and the pots of flowers were tucked in behind the grass and attached with mounting tape. The birds were added to the scene for the finishing touch.
Thanks for coming by today and I hope you have enjoyed and been inspired by my bright and cheerful die cut sunshine scene.
