EPA registration for Syngenta “game changing” fungicide

Syngenta’s Miravis ACE on wheat

The EPA has approved registration for a new group of fungicides developed by Syngenta. Eric Tedford, fungicide product lead, tells Brownfield Adepidyn®, under its Miravis brand, is available to peanut growers this year and the rest will be available in 2019, subject to state approval, “Miravis Ace for wheat, Miravis Top for soybeans, Miravis NEO for corn/soybeans and the row crops, and, Miravis Prime for the specialty crops and vegetable crops.”

Tedford says the fungicide is powerful and adheres well to plants, “It clearly is game changing. It has great power, spectrum and stamina.”

Tedford says Miravis NEO, coming to market next year, also has physiological benefits for corn and soybean yield potential.
