Welcome to my second post for the fabulous Spring & Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop 2018!!! It’s Joy Clair Stamps’ turn and the best part is that for this edition we have new coffee stamp sets to share with you!!!

I want to share a card that I made combining two “old” stamp sets with die cuts. I made this card in brilliant colors and with a tropical touch.

The base of my card is melon mambo cardstock and the second layer was created with bermuda bay cardstock and a die cut called The Leaf Effect Cutaway  from Winnie and Walter. I pasted my die cut cover to the card base using a lot of dimensionals or double sided foam tape, to keep the free spaces on between.

In a separate piece of whisper white card stock, I stamped one of the sentiments included on the Coffee Quotes stamp set with VersaFine Clair Acorn and clear embossing powder. I repeated the same process  with the small cup of coffee included on the Coffee Lovers stamp set.

Usind a hexagonal die cut I cut the sentiment and then fussy cut with my scissors the little cup. With Fireworks Dandelion I splatted the sentiment and pasted with dimensionals or double sided tape over the decorated card base. As final touch I cut in a stitched sun using Crushed Curry cardstock and paste the cup.
