NFL Adopts Policy Requiring Players On The Field to Stand During The National Anthem

In a stunning move on Wedneday, the NFL caved to pressure from Donald Trump and conservatives, adopting a policy that required players to stand during the national anthem.


The policy will punish teams with members who do not “stand and show respect for the flag and the Anthem.” Members are allowed o retreat to the locker room should they choose.

The decision will no doubt be viewed as a win for conservatives and the president. Read the full statement below:
