Rockets even series with Warriors: Must-see moments from insane Game 4

Houston Rockets guard James Harden shoots over Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson during the first quarter of Game 4.

The Houston Rockets needed this one, and they got it.

Led by James Harden (30 points) and Chris Paul (27 points), the Rockets downed the Golden State Warriors 95-92 on Tuesday night to even up the Western Conference finals at two games apiece.

And just like that, we have ourselves a series.

The two teams exchanged blows throughout, but a furious fourth-quarter rally by Houston — and a few missed shots by Stephen Curry down the stretch — gave the Rockets the win as the series now shifts back to Houston for Game 5 on Thursday (9 p.m. ET on TNT).

Six of the game's top moments are below.

1. MVPoster

Harden's not known for his high-flying ability, but his second-quarter slam over reigning Defensive Player of the Year Draymond Green was one of the most electrifying dunks of these playoffs.

2. Uhh ...

Before he took over the game, Harden had one of the more bizarre moments of the postseason, passing up a wide-open three-pointer to dish the ball to P.J. Tucker instead.

3. Mr. Third Quarter

A game after his mesmerizing third quarter, Curry was at it again, scoring 11 consecutive points to keep Golden State afloat. He finished the quarter with 17 points — the same amount as Houston.

4. CP3 has the last laugh

Ah, another player-fan moment. Only this one wasn't nearly as intense as the ones with Harden and Russell Westbrook. After a fan shouted "Chris Paul you suck" late in the fourth quarter, Paul responded with what appeared to be either "your mama" or "try me." We couldn't come to a consensus. Laurel-Yanny 2.0?

5. Another left-handed poster

While Shaun Livingston's jam over Clint Capela wasn't quite as ferocious as Harden's, we have to give credit where it's due. Keep in mind, Livingston is 32 and Capela, one of the league's top shot-blockers, is 24.

6. Point Gawd

Passes like this from Paul don't even surprise us anymore.
