Many JetBlue Promotions!

JetBlue is currently running a bunch of promotions, some which actually last for the entire 2014 year. If you fly JetBlue often, this is a great way to earn status and bonus points.

Promotion #1: Earn double Mosaic qualifying points

All flights between January 14 and March 3, 2014 will earn 2x points towards Mosaic status. You can reach Mosaic status by either flying 30 segments + 12,000 flight points or just earning 15,000 flight points within a calendar year. This promotion will help you earn those points faster.

Mosaic status will allow you to check two bags for free, give you an additional 3 TrueBlue points per dollar spent (giving you a total of 9 points per dollar spent if you book on jetblue.com), 15,000 bonus points upon reaching status, and change and cancel your flight reservation with no fee!

This promotion only applies to NEW reservations, which I personally hate, but it is what it is. You must register for this promotion prior to booking your flight.

Promotion #2: The High Five Bonus

This promotion was around last year as well and essentially if you fly three roundtrips you’ll earn 5,000 bonus points. Flights must be flown January 1 – December 31, 2014 and it does not matter when you made your reservation.

Award Flights do not count towards this bonus. The High Five bonus of 5,000 points can only be earned once and the points earned do not count towards earning Mosaic status. No registration needed, but make sure your JetBlue frequent flyer number is included in your reservation.

Promotion #3: The Lucky 7 Bonus

New promotion for 2014 and similar in nature to the High Five Bonus. With this bonus, if you fly seven roundtrip flights you’ll earn 7,000 bonus points. Again, this is available for fights flown January 1 – December 31, 2014 and does not matter when you made your reservation.

The terms are the same as the High Five Bonus where award points do not count, you can only earn the bonus once, and the points do not count towards status. You can, however, earn the High Five Bonus and the Lucky 7 Bonus for a total of 12,000 bonus points!

Thanks to the blog Wandering Aramean for pointing out this promotions!

I already have a roundtrip reservation I booked 2 weeks ago for 1/24-1/27. Do I have to do anything to register for the High Five, or will I automatically qualify just for having a frequent flyer number?

A great perk of Mosaic is also that the same day change fee is waived, this puts JetBlue Mosaic on the same or a higher level as coveted statuses like UA 1K, etc. The flexibility and peace of mind of having no cancel, change, or same day change fees is priceless. I think this Mosaic benefit is not recognized enough by both the traveling public and the travel media. This is absolutely the single most important and differentiating Mosaic benefit! Why do you think the benefit is not more recognized and talked a bout out there?

Also for the High 5 or Lucky 7, does it matter if you booked one way trips?
