Brewers pitcher Brandon Woodruff will be without his beard the next time he takes the mound

Who's the kid wearing Brandon Woodruff's jersey?

It's a forgivable reaction after fans see how Woodruff has transformed just by virtue of shaving his glorious red beard.

Woodruff said Monday it was time for a change, and he hadn't even alerted a pretty important member of his family.

Woodruff is 2-0 with a 6.75 ERA in seven big-league games this year as he tries to carve out a role in the Brewers' rotation or bullpen. He's been stellar at Class AAA Colorado Springs, posting a 2-0 mark and 1.89 ERA over four starts.
