Chamber members are businesses, organizations and even individuals that are concerned with the economic climate of their community.

We join together because we realize we stand a better chance of accomplishing our goals when we are speaking with a collective voice.  Chamber members include the small startup businesses, established banks, large retailers, lodging establishments and the seasoned long time businesses in the area as well as individuals that care about the future of the community.

A Chamber is a voluntary partnership of businesses and professionals working together to build a healthy economy and improve the quality of life in the community. As our chamber works to accomplish these very goals, we are also working on economic development, planning events, gathering tourist information for our visitor centers and government relations.

I cringe when I hear business owners say, I don’t need more customers, so why would I be a member of the Chamber or even worse, what does the Chamber do for me.

It is not just about one business or individual, it is about a healthy community. My question back is, do you not care about the welfare of the business environment in the community in which you live?

It is not about what you can get from the Chamber, it is about what we can accomplish when we work together. I sincerely have a hard time understanding people that don’t realize the importance of a local chamber of commerce. A well-organized chamber is essential in creating a climate for smart growth and success of the community as a whole.

Here at the Ruidoso Valley Chamber of Commerce we work diligently with anyone that desires to be involved in the current and future accomplishments of Lincoln County and the surrounding areas.

If you are someone that is interested in helping us reach our goals or just want to know more about who we are and what we are doing, drop by and meet us.

We truly believe that together we can make this a better place to live, work and play.
