3000 United Miles for First Rocketmiles Hotel Booking

Rocketmiles usually gives you a 1000 mile bonus with your first booking when you are referred by an existing member. So it’s worth signing up that way.

Rocketmiles is a hotel booking site with a limited number of hotels and in a limited – but growing – number of cities. It rebates you a potentially large number of miles for your reservations. (You generally won’t earn hotel points for your stays booked through the site.)

You get to choose whose miles you want to earn for your stays.

In addition to the standard bonus they are now offering a 3000 mile bonus for making your first booking by February 28 for a stay consumed by July 1 and earning United miles.

Last month a first-time booking bonus excluded earning the referral bonus also in its terms and conditions. This new United bonus doesn’t contain the exclusion.

Qualifying Activity: To qualify for the 3,000 mile bonus, you must be a first time customer and complete a booking through Rocketmiles between 12:00 AM (CT) on January 16, 2014 and 11:59 p.m. (CT) on February 28, 2014 and complete the hotel stay associated by July 1, 2014. Booking bonus of 3,000 miles is awarded to new customers for their first booking through Rocketmiles (with associated stay) only – all subsequent bookings and associated stays will not qualify for the booking bonus. Base earning rates will range between 1,000 – 5,000 miles per night. Limit 1 bonus per person. Rocketmiles bookings made after 11:59 (CT) on February 28, 2014, no-show reservations, and bookings cancelled prior to check-in will not be eligible. Rocketmiles reserves the right to retract a bonus if it detects fraud, technical errors, cancel/rebooking activity (defined by identical search criteria), or any other deceptive behavior attempted to circumvent the limits expressed above. 1. And is there anyway to combine this offer with the Marriott MegaBonus, MegaMiles, or the Club Carlson stay 3 get 1 free? (I think not but would be nice)

  2. Nice offer! Quick question – if I have an email on file with United that is different than the one I have with RocketMiles, would that preclude me from getting the miles from them?

  3. Sean – I used their winter offer in December and was also given the 1,000 point first time bonus. So I imagine you’d get both for 4k in total.

  4. @Shane – the offer is for first-time customers only. But United doesn’t match email addresses that I’m aware of, just MileagePlus numbers.

  5. Gary you should post the link to the 3000 bonus points. I know that was confusing to me. I thought I could just sign up using your link and make my first booking and it would automatically give me the points. You have to sign up using your link and then once signed in, click on the link to the 3000 point bonus to get it to show during your first booking.
