Donovan Mitchell claps back at Thunder fans after Jazz loss: 'See y'all next year'

Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell celebrates after scoring against the Oklahoma City Thunder in the second half during Game 3.

Shortly after his Jazz failed to eliminate the Thunder in Game 5 of their first-round series on Wednesday night, Utah rookie Donovan Mitchell made it clear he has no intention of coming back to Oklahoma City for a potential Game 7.

A video that surfaced on Twitter shows Mitchell walking off the court after the loss when a Thunder fan looks at him and screams, "Let's go!"

"Hey, we'll see y'all next year, all right?" Mitchell responded.

Translation: This series is ending Friday night.

The Jazz still lead the series 3-2 and will advance to the second round if they win Game 6 in Salt Lake City at Vivint Smart Home Arena — one of the toughest places for visiting teams to play, especially in the playoffs.

Utah's star rookie has been phenomenal all series, but he struggled from the floor in Game 5, making just nine of his 22 shots and one of his seven three-point attempts. He finished with 23 points.

Friday's Game 6 tips off at 10:30 p.m. ET on ESPN.
