Milwaukee police seek suspect in north side carjacking

Carjacking suspect

Milwaukee police are seeking a suspect in a north side carjacking that took place Sunday.

A male approached a 58-year-old woman as she was getting out of her vehicle about 6 p.m. in the 3500 block of W. Thurston Ave., according to a news release from the Milwaukee Police Department.

The male demanded the woman's vehicle, a 2014 silver Nissan Rogue, at gunpoint before fleeing in the vehicle, the news release said.

The carjacker is described as a black male, between 17 and 25 years old, 5 feet 9 inches tall and approximately 300 pounds.
