USDA reestablishes produce advisory

 

The USDA is reestablishing the Fruit and Vegetable Industry Advisory Committee.

The committee was created in 2001 to examine how USDA could improve programs to meet issues facing the industry. The charter for the committee expired last July.

All 25 seats are open to anyone actively working in the produce industry. Committee members will serve one or two-year terms.  Nominations are due May 24th.
