South Trail Fire Department extinguishes fire at $700,000 south Fort Myers home

A fire at 6285 Scott Lane damaged a 5-bedroom, $700,000-plus home Monday.

A house fire on Scott Lane off Plantation Drive in south Fort Myers damaged a five-bedroom home Monday afternoon.

A spokeswoman for the South Trail Fire Department said there were no injuries in the fire at the $700,000-plus home.

"The fire is under control," said South Trail public information officer Amy Bollen. "Crews are still working on hot spots."
