The McIlhenny Company has just released a limited-edition, small-batch pepper sauce to commemorate its 150th anniversary.

Tabasco Diamond Reserve Sauce — with its flashy, Champagne-style bottle — is meant to catch the eye.

And at $35 a pop, it might cost as much as your favorite bottle of bubbly.

But the new sauce is a must for hot sauce fans and collectors.

Tabasco Diamond Reserve Sauce

Tabasco Diamond Reserve Sauce is made from select tabasco peppers on Avery Island that are mashed with salt and aged for up to 15 years then blended with sparkling white wine vinegar.

The result is a concentrated, complex hot sauce that maintains the signature vibrancy Tabasco fans love.

The sauce is a celebratory offering that toasts the chefs, home cooks, bartenders and foodies who have made Tabasco a staple in their kitchens for the last 150 years.

“We have reached this milestone anniversary thanks to our devoted fans who have
championed Tabasco Sauce in kitchens and at dining tables, in restaurants and in
handbags, and from Avery Island, Louisiana to every corner of the world,” said Tony
Simmons, president and CEO of McIlhenny Company and fifth-generation McIlhenny
family member. “We’re excited to share our newest sauce and look forward to seeing the
dishes and drinks that are created using it. Here’s to the next 150 years of great flavor!”

You can get a 6-ounce bottle of Tabasco Diamond Reserve Sauce for $34.95 at tabasco.com.

Supplies are limited.
