Marquette will host rival Wisconsin at new arena on Dec. 8

Marquette and Wisconsin will add a new chapter to their college basketball rivalry when they meet for the first time at the Wisconsin Entertainment and Sports Center on Dec. 8.

The teams have played 124 times dating to 1917, with the Golden Eagles winning last season's matchup at the Kohl Center, 82-63, on Dec. 9.

UW won the last meeting in Milwaukee, 93-84, on Dec. 10, 2016, at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.

The Badgers hold a 67-57 edge in the series.

MU will make its regular-season debut Nov. 6 against Maryland-Baltimore County at the new arena.
