And with less-than-ideal spring weather, Sandler had to find indoor options for staying active.

The comedian and actor got some exercise before his gigs on Wednesday and Thursday by playing basketball on the Marquette campus at the Al McGuire Center with his crew and some MU student managers.

Despite getting a good sweat, Sandler generously took the time to pose for photos with several MU players. By all accounts, he also cracked a few jokes.

Sports are a common theme in Sandler's film work, from football in "The Waterboy" and "The Longest Yard" to both golf and hockey in "Happy Gilmore." "Grown Ups" allowed Sandler – through his character, Lenny Feder – to show off his court skill.
