Rabies clinic and prescription drug drop-off on April 28
Two separate events, but both are important

Mark April 28 on your calendar, if you have pets or need to dispose of bottles of prescription drugs.
To observe National Prescription Take Back Drug Day, residents can bring their unused or expired medication for safe disposal from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, April 28, to the Ruidoso Police Department, 1085 Mechem Drive.
The event is sponsored by the department and by CHANGE, Community Healing Addictions Through Networking Guidance and Education.
A Rabies Clinic is set for 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., at the White Mountain Drive Fire Station in Ruidoso.
All dog and cat vaccines will be available and discounted.
