Grantipo, Madrid based design studio created a label made of stainless steel for Cuatro Almas that conserves the wine at a perfect temperture throughout the time it takes to have a conversation (30 to 60 minutes).
“If you can’t improve a wine any more because its already perfect, the challenge is to keep it that way (at between 16º and 18º). That’s why we created a 3.5mm thick stainless steel label that maintains a temperature that conserve the qualities of the wine.”
“We also created an interactive experience that was integrated within the design of the packaging. By using QR codes printed on the cork and the label, consumers could keep the conversation going. Upon scanning the code on the label they were redirected to a microsite where they could leave a message for other consumers.
This message would then be printed on the next bottle up for sale, embedded in the QR code on the cork and thus initiating a new conversation with the opening of every bottle.”
