Brownfield’s Julie Harker will cover The Missouri Department of Natural Resources public hearing Wednesday, April 18 in Tipton, Missouri.

Missouri DNR is seeking public comments concerning Tipton East’s application for a State No-Discharge operating permit that authorizes the operation of a Concentrated Animal Feeding Operation, permit number MOGS10560. Tipton East is located in Cooper County off Renshaw Drive, Clarksburg.

The department will hold a public hearing from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 18 at the Tipton Country Club, 620 US Highway 50 West, Tipton.

The focus of the hearing will be on whether the application for a new State No-Discharge operating permit that authorizes the operation of the CAFO complies with permit requirements.
