ABTA is warning international travellers to Turkey that they face being refused admission to the country unless they have an e-visa, from 10 April 2014.

For many years it has been necessary for travellers to obtain a visa on arrival, and for a couple of years it has been possible to get an electronic visa in advance AND a visa on arrival.

However, it appears that the e-visa will be obligatory from 10 April.
