Wisconsin Lutheran College will honor television broadcaster and former NFL coach Tony Dungy with the 2018 Divine Servant Leadership Award during a ceremony on April 27.

Dungy, who led the Indianapolis Colts to the 2006 Super Bowl title, coached in the NFL for 13 seasons - seven with the Colts and six with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. His overall record was 148-79.

Dungy also played three seasons in the NFL for the Pittsburgh Steelers and San Francisco 49ers. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2016 with former Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre.

Since 2009, Dungy, 62, has been a football analyst for NBC's Football Night in America. He also is a best-selling author, community leader and mentor.

Wisconsin Lutheran established the Divine Servant Award in 2017 to honor an individual who exemplifies qualities of servant leadership and has exhibited Christian values throughout his or her life of service.

“We seek to amplify our mission of preparing Christian servant leaders, who will influence and change our world,” Daniel Johnson, president of Wisconsin Lutheran College, said in a release. “We couldn’t be more privileged to recognize Tony Dungy as our featured speaker and recipient.”

The ceremony is open to the public and will begin at 5:30 p.m. April 27 at the Time of Grace Center on the school's campus. Individual tickets are available for $350, tables of 10 for $3,500 or premium location tables of 10 for $5,000.
