Jim Carrey unveils latest painting: President Trump as the 'Wicked Witch of the West Wing'

Pablo Picasso had his Blue Period; apparently, comedian-turned-painter Jim Carrey is in the midst of his Trumpist Period.

Three days after debuting a portrait on Twitter that resembles White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, he unveiled a new one portraying her boss, President Trump, as the Wicked Witch of the West from The Wizard of Oz.

Carrey captioned it, "The Wicked Witch of the West Wing and Putin's flying monkeys."

He drew the ire of conservatives with his painting of a scowling woman, which he captioned, "This is the portrait of a so-called Christian whose only purpose in life is to lie for the wicked. Monstrous!"

On Monday, Sanders' father, former Arkansas governor and Fox News pundit Mike Huckabee, blasted Carrey for mocking his daughter's faith, calling the actor a "pathetic bully, sexist, hater, bigot (and) 'Christaphobe.' " He also asked, "What would be hypocritical Hollywood reaction if he called someone a 'so-called Muslim' or 'so-called Jew?' "

As with the earlier painting, the Trump feedback was mostly divided along partisan lines.

Hated it (and really hate Carrey):

"You have lost your damn mind and killed whatever was left of your career," @TopherMartin777 told Carrey. "Well done."

"You really ought to check yourself in somewhere," wrote @realUberCon. "You need some serious help. I mean around the clock help by a team of leading specialists. People watching and observing 24-7."

"His paintings/drawings remind me of the ones serial killers produce in prison," @TheOneMiMi observed. "Disturbed."

Loved it:

"The resemblance is astounding," wrote one Carrey fan, @Campbellizajane. "Thanks for painting it like it is!"

@Natie_isabel put in a request for Carrey's next project: "Jeff Sessions next, please!"

And then there were the folks in the middle:

"So my favorite comedic actor has fallen to the psychosis of Trump-hate; very sad days," wrote @DriveMeToThink. "We all need to balance our news consumption or we become 'hate sheep.' "
