Executive chef at lakefront's Harbor House resigns

Andrew Ruiz, executive chef at Harbor House, has resigned effective immediately.

Ruiz had been with The Bartolotta Restaurants group since 2001 and had roles at Ristorante Bartolotta, Bacchus, Rumpus Room, and Joey Gerard's in Greenfield, where he was executive chef. In July, Ruiz replaced Andrew Fisher as executive chef at the seafood restaurant at 550 N. Harbor Drive.

Corporate chef Adam Siegel will oversee kitchen operations at Harbor House until a replacement is found, Bartolotta Restaurants said in a statement. 

No reason was given for Ruiz's departure.
