Faux inlaid Technique with Paper Foil
Hello everyone, today I want to share a layout with a faux inlaid technique with Paper Foil. I used the Pastels Rinea Foiled Variety Pack because I think these are the perfect colors for this season and when I started to create texture over the piece I loved! Take a look at my page:
This is a 12″x12″ page that I made with Quick Quotes Scrapbooking Papers, I love the designs and quality of this papers and it combine perfectly with my idea. I created a mad of 10″x10″ and over it I paste the main photo. Then I decorated with the Pastels Rinea Foiled Variety Pack.
I embossed different pieces with the Hexagons Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder of Stampin Up. I love this design and type of embossing folders because they are a 3D effect that work wonderful with the paper foil. I used Lavander/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper and Lavander/Lavander Starstruck Foiled Paper to create the different pieces over my page.
Then I cut a doily using Jade/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper and paste it partially over the right corner of the page. This doily include a center die cut that I cut using the Gold side of the Jade/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper and I used all the negative parts to decorate the 3D panels.
I pasted one by one of these pieces using On-Point Glue over the hexagons to create the inlaid effect. I really love how my page turned out.
The image and sentiment that I used on the page are images included on the stamp sets Uh-Oh Ink Splatter and Dad’s Day by Joy Clair Stamps.
