Germantown Fire Chief Gary Weiss resigns over personnel matter

The Germantown Village Board accepted the resignation of Fire Chief Gary Weiss on Monday night, according to Village Administrator Steve Kreklow.

Weiss had been placed on voluntary leave over a personnel matter, Kreklow said. He said the village would begin the process of looking for a new chief.

Weiss had been chief for four years.
