Indiana 74, UW-Milwaukee 54: Panthers fall to Hoosiers in WNIT

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The knockout run came earlier than expected.
Indiana outscored UW-Milwaukee, 20-3, over the last six-plus minutes of the second quarter Sunday and coasted to a 74-54 victory over the Panthers in the second round of the WNIT.
The Panthers (21-12) scored just nine points in the quarter while the Hoosiers made 7 of 11 shots.

Mistakes also contributed to the Panthers’ offensive woes. The Hoosiers scored 27 points off of 24 UWM turnovers. Indiana had a season-high 17 steals.
Tyra Buss scored 11 of her 17 points during the second quarter spurt for Indiana (19-14).
Bailey Farley led the Panthers with 19 points.
