OR Independents Open Primary to Non-Party Voters

Unaffiliated Voters will be allowed to take part in the Primary Election for the Independent Party of Oregon this May 15th.

The Democratic and Republican Primaries are Open only to Party Members.

This year, Three Candidates are seeking the Independent Nomination to run for Oregon's Governor:

Skye Allen of Portland
Dan Pistoresi of Lincoln City
Patrick Starnes of Brownsville.

No Independent Candidates are filed for Local Offices.

To Participate, Unaffiliated Voters can Contact their County Clerk’s Office to complete a Form requesting a Ballot. Forms can be obtained in Person or at: Request a Ballot Page, and must be returned No later than April 24th at 5 p.m.

Requesting a Ballot will Not change a Voter’s Status as Unaffiliated.
