The Hideout: Elite Motor Storage is a new storage facility underway on U.S. 41, four miles east of Collier Boulevard.

NBC Land Holding LLC announced the upcoming development of The Hideout: Elite Motor Storage in southeast Naples. The storage facility will provide highly secured storage space for recreational vehicles (RVs), boats, cars and other valuable items. Security and quality of construction are the two main hallmarks of this project.  The units will be available for sale as part of a condominium association.

The project will consist of four buildings, all built to withstand 170 mph winds. Three building will contain large units, ranging in sizes from 20-by-50 feet to 25-by-50 feet to 25-by-5 feet.

Each building will have seven units per building. Each unit will consist of insulated concrete block walls, both interior and exterior, a bathroom, 200 AMP service (including a separate 50 AMP), fire sprinklers, 20-foot high ceilings, and 14-by-14-foot insulated automatic overhead doors. Upgrades will include various mezzanine (loft) configurations, air conditioning, stained or coated flooring, and cabinetry.

The fourth building (mini-storage) will consist of 14, 12-by-25-foot units. These units will have 12-foot ceilings, insulated 10-by-10-foot overhead doors, fire sprinklers, and air conditioning as part of the standard packaging.

"One of the great things about this facility is that it just caters to storage needs," states Keith Basik, developer and managing member of Naples Land Holding LLC. "An owner within this facility doesn’t have to worry about or be bother by industrial activity clogging up the driveways and restricting their movement. Too often other facilities try to co-locate industrial businesses with storage-related activities and it just does not work. Since we are focused on just storage, the feel of our community for our clients will be considerably more relaxed and comfortable," said Basik.

Another item that Basik states is of concern to people with this type of storage need is the quality of construction."“Given Hurricane Irma, there is a lot of interest in having the ability to store their valuables, at a moments notice, in concrete buildings that can withstand significant winds," Basik continues. "There is no running around looking for subpar rental space at the last minute. Our units are viewed as an investment that protects their other investments."

Since the units are sold as condominiums, each unit will be charged a monthly CAM (common area maintenance) fee. This fee will cover building and flood insurance, security, common area lighting and landscaping, water/sewer and reserves.

The project is located four miles east of the U.S. 41) and Collier Boulevard intersection at 195 Basik Drive. It is conveniently located close to Marco Island and the Collier Boulevard corridor.
