Villard Ave. bank robbery suspect

Milwaukee police are searching for a man who robbed a Villard Ave. bank Friday afternoon.

The man, who wasn't armed, entered the bank in the 3700 block of W. Villard Ave. and handed a teller a note demanding money, then fled with the cash, according to Sgt. Sheronda Grant, the department's public information officer.

Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the robber.

He is described as a black male with a medium complexion, 19 to 22 years old, 5-foot-9 and 130 to 140 pounds with a medium build.

The robber has a thin mustache and was wearing a black skull cap, black jacket with the word "Deerwood" in white lettering on his right upper chest area,  gray hood, black pants and black shoes.
