The QuickBooks Resource Center is now seeking a Content Refresh Specialist to update our backlog of previously published articles.
Refreshes will range from minor updates to include more recent research, to fully rewriting articles to reflect our current voice and tone guidelines.
The Content Refresh specialist must have a significant working knowledge of Search Engine Optimization, and possess a demonstrated ability to increase search rankings after rewrites.
Responsibilities may include:
- Updating title tags and meta descriptions to improve CTR from search
- Finding new research to insert into older pieces to ensure relevancy
- Updating offers for various QuickBooks product groups
- Rewriting articles for improved readability, click-through, and time on page
- Update links within older articles to newly published pieces where relevant
The QuickBooks Resource Center contains a vast library of insight on the important parts of running a business nobody likes talking about. We want to make that insight more accessible for anyone looking to find it.

- Please provide samples of articles you have rewritten, what the target keywords were you were updating for, and the results of the rewrite. We will be checking each URL to see a before/after of the rewrite.
- Tell us in 5 sentences or less how you would prioritize refreshing a large catalog of content.
