CME dairy markets mostly up second straight day Thursday

The dairy markets were mostly up for a second straight day at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange Thursday.  

Class Three milk for March was up $.06 at $14.30 a hundredweight.  April was up $.07 at $14.12. May was up $.06 to $14.15. June was up $.03 to 14.55.  Most milk futures through next March were up between $.03 and $.06 cents.

Grade AA Butter was unchanged at $2.2175 per pound.  No sales were recorded.

Barrels were up $.02 at $1.5450 per pound. Four carloads sold at $1.54 and $1.5450.

Forty-pound blocks were up $.01 at $1.5850 per pound.   Four carloads sold with prices from $1.58 to $1.5850.

Nonfat dry milk was down $.0025 at $.6875 per pound.  Four carloads sold with prices ranging from $.68 to $.69 per pound.

Dry whey was up $.0075 closing at $.2875 cents per pound. No sales were recorded.
