Rice joins Brownfield Ag News Sales Team

Learfield is pleased to announce the addition of Melanie Rice to the Brownfield Ag News Sales Team.

“Melanie will be a great addition to the Brownfield team,” said John Baker, Senior Vice President of Learfield News & Ag. “She is a great fit for our clients and culture and adds strength to our overall customized solution and product portfolio.”

Melanie comes to Brownfield with a passion for agriculture that started at a young age growing on a diversified family farm in Northwest Missouri. She is a proud graduate of the University of Missouri, College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources. Her career diversity includes agency, corporate communications and digital media sales experience most recently with Carbon Media Group and Specialty Fertilizer Products (now Verdesian Life Sciences).

Melanie is active with the National AgriMarketing Association serving as this year’s Fall Conference Chairman and with the American Royal as the Co-Chairman of the Calf Scramble Committee.

Today she and her husband Jake are active in their family’s cow/calf operation and spend free time team roping or horseback riding. They reside in Clearfield, Iowa with their son.
