Michele McCormack, then a reporter-anchor at WDJT-TV (Channel 58), is the mistress of ceremonies at the semi-annual Merit Awards Ceremony at the Police Training Academy in Milwaukee on May 9, 2017.

Former WDJT-TV (Channel 58) reporter/news anchor Michele McCormack started her new job this week — not in television, but at the Hunger Task Force.

McCormack is listed on the Milwaukee nonprofit's website as its individual giving manager. McCormack directed questions to the Hunger Task Force, which declined to comment on personnel matters.

McCormack left WDJT in January after 12 years at the Milwaukee CBS affiliate, where she had been co-anchoring the station's noon and 4 p.m. newscasts.

At the time, she declined to comment on her plans, but said she expected to continue working with local charities she was involved in.
